Video of a day charter with BBB by Dylan deHaas

Option 1. This is our most popular cruise: Just off the coast of KK we have a choice of five tropical islands which form the Tunku Abdul Rahman Marine Park (TARP). You can enjoy island hopping cruises, swimming in clear waters, excellent snorkelling on coral reefs teaming with colourful fish, white sandy beaches, water villages, wildlife, amazing sunsets and more (the five islands are Pulau Gaya, Manukan, Mamutik, Sulug and Sapi).

Get away from the crowds and experience the feeling that this is 'your boat' for the day. With the help and advice of our experienced 2 or 3 man crew you can decide exactly where you want to go, how long you want to stay and what you want to do.

Our most popular charter is from 9.30am to 3.30pm from Jesselton Point, the city centre jetty, but you can choose the times that suit you best.

Prices start at RM1,800 for the first 5 hours for up to 5 people; additional hours are RM350 per hour; additional people are RM250 per person.

Prices include: masks & snorkels, jetty fees, marine park conservation fees, lunch on board (for bookings of 5 hours or more), bottled water, hot drinks such as tea, locally brewed coffee, hot chocolate, soft drinks, biscuits, towels, and snorkelling instruction if required.

Payment: A booking deposit of RM450 to RM650 is required to secure a booking with the balance to be paid by cash in Malaysian Ringgit on the day of the cruise.

Cancellation Policy: if, on the day,of the charter, it is unwise or unsafe to go to sea because of adverse weather conditions, this is the procedure:

1. We delay departure for an hour or two to wait and see if the weather improves. It usually does.

2. We postpone to another day if this is possible for both parties.

3. I cancel the trip and refund your deposit, minus any bank/PayPal charges.

If we are already at sea and the weather becomes unmanageable, we can return to the jetty and you will only pay for the time at sea plus equipment or services used or fees incurred. Any balance you have already paid will be returned to you. My full cancellation policy is available on request and will be sent to you automatically if you make a booking, before you receive the invoice for the booking deposit.

Sunset Cruises

Option 2: A Sunset Cruise is a private charter, usually up to 1.5 hours. The sun sets around 6.30pm so, depending on the season, sunset cruises depart from Jesselton Point at around 5.30pm returning after the sun has disappeared, some time just before before 7pm. An earlier start will allow you to fit in some snorkelling or beach time before sunset. Drinks and light snacks are included.
Price is RM1,000 for up to 4 people, finishing before 7pm. Extra people RM250 per person, extra hours (starting earlier) RM350 per hour.

Water Activities

Any of these can be added to the 'Five Islands' Cruise:

Sea Walking: RM250 pp for up to 30 minutes including personal video and certificate

Jet Ski: RM200 for 30 minutes, maximum 2 people per unit

Parasailing: RM100pp, for 10 - 15 minutes

Kayaking: RM100 for one 2-man kayak. Kayaking is allowed in some areas and not in others. We will advise you fully on the day.

Banana boat: RM50pp for 15 minutes, minimum 4 people

Zip Line: RM86 pp

Glass-bottom boat: RM100 adult, RM80 child, +-30 minutes

Fishing

Option 3: Fishing: Fishing is not permitted within the protected waters of the Marine Park but we can offer alternative locations a few miles outside the marine park boundary if you want to 'try fishing'.

'Try Fishing' is limited to the first hour of a six-hour, Five Island Cruise. It is sometimes a bit of fun but the snorkelling later is most likely to be the highlight of your day.

The extra cost is RM100 per rod/hand line and bait.

Two days notice required.
